TDI Air Diluent CCR Diver
This is the entry level certification course for divers wishing to utilize a closed circuit rebreather (CCR) for air diving. The objective of the course is to train divers in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures for diving a CCR and to develop basic CCR diving skills to a maximum depth of 30 metres / 100 feet, using air as a diluent. No decompression diving is allowed on this course.
Course Pre-requisite
At least 18 years old
TDI Nitrox Diver or equivalent
TDI Sidemount Diver (if rebreather is a sidemount rebreather)
20 Open Water Dives or 10 CCR Dives (if doing a unit crossover)

Knowledge Development with Written Exam
Dry Skills Development
Confined Water Skills Development
7 CCR Dives with a total runtime of 420 minutes down to 30m
Course Equipment
TDI approved CCR
Dive Computer with depth gauge and bottom timer
SMB
Spool or Reel of minimum 40m
Bailout Regulators with 1 first and second stage and pressure gauge as required
