This course will provide you the history of technical diving and how it has evolved over the years. Adapting to the type of diving we are doing, and how our understanding of diving and equipment requirements have changed over the years.

Course Pre-requisite

  • At least 16 years old

  • 24 Open Water Dives

  • SSI Enriched Air Nitrox or equivalent

  • SSI Deep Diving or equivalent

  • SSI XR Sidemount Diving or equivalent (if doing the course in sidemount)

Course Equipment

  • 1 Stage Cylinder and Regulator

  • Primary and Back-up Multi-gas Computer or Bottom Timer

  • SMBs with Spool/Reel for appropriate depths

  • Back-up Mask
