SSI XR CCR Hypoxic Trimix
The pinnacle of CCR training, SSI XR CCR Hypoxic Trimix or otherwise commonly known as MOD 3, trains you in the necessary procedures and knowledge to dive down to 100 meters on a CCR. SSI XR CCR Hypoxic Trimix takes you to the limits of technical rebreather diving.
Course Pre-requisite
At least 18 years old
100 CCR Hours, of which 50 hours on the applicable unit
100 CCR Dives on any unit, of which 20 CCR Dives requires stage decompression, 30 CCR Dives deeper than 30 meters, 10 CCR Dives deeper than 50 meters
SSI XR CCR Technical Extended Range or equivalent
Course Equipment
CE Approved CCR Unit that allows (1) Manual Addition of Gases, (2) Back-up loop monitoring, (3) Onboard Oxygen and Diluent can be shutdown
At least 3 Bailout Cylinder with Regulator and Inflator Hose
Back-up OC/CCR Computer
SMBs with Spool/Reels for appropriate depths
Back-up Mask and Spool
