Course Pre-requisite

• At least 18 years

• 50 CCR Dives, of which 20 CCR Dives deeper than 30 meters and 10 CCR Dives requiring staged decompression

• 50 hours on applicable unit

• SSI Diver Stress & Rescue or equivalent

• SSI XR CCR Extended Range or equivalent

Course Equipment

• CE Approved CCR Unit that allows (1) Manual Addition of Gases, (2) Back-up loop monitoring, (3) Onboard Oxygen and Diluent can be shut down

• At least 2 Bailout Cylinders with Regulators and Inflator Hose

• Back-up OC/CCR Computer

• SMBs with Spool/Reel for appropriate depths

• Back-up Mask and Spool

• Cutting Devices

Course Components

• Knowledge Development with Written Exam

• Unit Specific Written Exam

• SSI XR Water Fitness Evaluation

• Confined Water Skills Development

• 6 Open Water Training Dives, with at least 420 minutes runtime on the CCR Unit
